Water Polo South Australian (WPSA) is a not for profit state sporting association dedicated to the strategic growth of water polo in South Australia. WPSA values sport and physical recreation participation as an appropriate way of facilitating improved physical health and well-being.WPSA is the governing body for 4 affiliated clubs throughout South Australia covering over 330 individual Members.

WPSA is affiliated to Water Polo Australia, the sport’s national governing body. WPSA revenue is derived from four main sources: affiliation fees from member clubs, match fees from competitions, member registrations and government grants.

The Administration Officer is responsible for the day to day general administration of the association, directed, managed and supervised by the WPSA Executive Officer, and supporting the staff team and Board.

Duties and Responsibilities would involve:

  • Coordinate the general administration of Water Polo SA programs including:
    • State Training Squads
    • WPSA Competitions
    • WPSA Events
  • Manage general operational relationships with clubs, aquatic venues, coaches and members.
  • Respond to queries about Water Polo SA.
  • Assist EO with drafting grant applications and meeting grant obligations.
  • Maintain WPSA website, Facebook and other social media accounts.
  • Advertise and promote Water Polo SA programs.
  • Assist with invoicing and reconciliation of WPSA accounts.
  • Provide administrative support to EO as required.
  • Other duties as required.

    WPSA is located at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre, 443 Morphett Rd, Oaklands Park
