Water Polo SA’s Junior State Teams are a junior development pathway to our players one day competing in the Australian Water Polo League. Each year we send both girls and boys teams to compete in national competitions which assist in their development and provide them with the opportunity to play against quality opposition.

Our teams aim to compete at one major national event each year, being the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships. This event also provides a selection opportunity to represent Australian Junior Squads overseas.

Athletes and their families incur significant costs to compete in these events competition. Along with the exorbitant cost of training and travel, these costs can wear heavily on our athletes and their families.

Our aim to raise enough money to lessen the financial burden placed on our athletes, so they are able to continue to develop and compete in the highest level of water polo offered to them within Australia.
