E-NEWS #8 Dear Participants/Parents, TEAMS FOR ‘SUMMER SLAM’ 2022 Congratulations to all those players selected for WPSA Teams for the ‘Summer Slam’ 2022 to be held in January in Brisbane. It has been a long wait to get back into national competition and it will be great to see our players back in action.Thanks also to several players from other States (Qld, NSW and in particular Tasmania) for joining the WPSA Teams.
The COVID situation and restrictions on entry into Queensland continue to change. The latest advice/direction from the Queensland Government is as follows: Arriving into Queensland from a HotspotRestrictions after 1am AEST 13 DecemberIf you have been in a declared hotspot (ie Greater Adelaide) in the past 14 days you may travel to Queensland provided you:
You may arrive by air or road. There is no quarantine required if you meet these criteria. If you do not meet these criteria, you will need to meet the relevant requirements for entry and will be required to undertake a period of quarantine in a government-nominated facility. This means that all Participants/Parents who intend on traveling to Queensland for the Summer Slam (National State Championships) in January 2022 will require to:

WPSA will continue to monitor the situation and advise accordingly.
